Full Day BAHUBALI HILL, COUNTRYSIDE, TEMPLES & GOLDEN CARP

Travel through the villages of the Aravali mountains, the oldest geological feature on earth (Wikipi). Passing Badi lake as we head to Ubeshwarji temple. Feed the huge golden carp in the holy lake and get up close to the many Langur monkeys who come to drink at this small lake, great opportunity to take photos close up. We then ascend to Vaishno temple for 360° views of the stunning Aravali range all the way across to the Monsoon palace and beyond. Here the air is fresh and the winds cool.

Before leaving here, we will drive to a viewpoint looking down into the stunning valleys near Peepliya, driving alongside a stream where women wash clothes & children play.

Descending into green valleys & rural village life, passing fields where rice, wheat, sugar cane & mustard seed is grown, if you wish to stop at any point, for any reason please just ask. We arrive at Badi lake the start point to ascend to Bahubali hill.

Here we stop for lunch
I make sure everything here is washed and clean before your meal is prepared.

After lunch, relax in the sun before a 15 to 20 minute walk uphill to a rocky outcrop with stunning views of this unspoilt lake. A popular view point for sunsets. If you wish I can walk up with you, or if you want to go yourself that’s fine. Take your time, enjoy the fresh air and don’t forget those selfies.

Our journey carries on along Badi lake back to Udaipur
