My name is Deepesh Sharma. I was born & still live in Udaipur old city, close to the Jagdish temple, where you will find me worshipping every morning. I have been involved with the tourism industry from leaving school over 20 years ago. I started by selling miniature art paintings close to my home, where I was responsible for the day to day running of the company, liasing with artists and selling art to tourists along with many international buyers.
Many tourists would ask is there anyone who could take us into the countryside, to see outside the city tourist sites, hence a change of career. I started my company Green Udaipur 108 Tours to offer the visitor a glimpse of rural India, where old step wells, ancient villages are waiting to be discovered on our journey. Why have I used the number 108 in my company name? Lord Shiva has 108 names and as a follower & a devotee of Lord Shiva I honour his names in my company.
Many tours take you around my city area but I want you to see how beautiful the countryside just outside of Udaipur is, full of amazing Indian history, temples, forts and stunning scenery.
I speak fluent English and of course Hindi. I have travelled many times to the UK, my business is an Indian/English owned company based in Udaipur.
